ava-and-ameliaI wrongly thought when i was planning this blog that I was writing this blog to my children, but over the last few months i have come to realize that, it is not me writing to my children, but God writing to his Children, to us, all of us. Along my journey, i have come across many broken people and for a while i did not understand why they were attracted to me, like i was magnet, like i was anything special, but over time i came to realize that ‘the broken’ find ‘the broken’ not because there is no one else, but because we understand each other in ways others cannot.

God understands us, fully, completely. He knows our broken pieces, even before we know have them and He knows what and who we need to mend our broken pieces. Many of us know the word ‘prayer’ and many of us ‘prayer’ but often we pray and then forget to wait for an answer. We get angry at God an we refuse to talk to him when he thinks he isn’t listening, but let me assure you, He is always listening and he will answer when the time is right, when he has some place to put the blessing he has for you. Do not stop praying and it is ok to be angry, sometimes!

But as these are letter to you, his children, then this is what he want you to know –

  • he loves you
  • he is listening
  • he as not forgotten you
  • he never leaves you alone, you are never alone
  • he understands your broken pieces
  • he will help you carry your burdens

“For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

For as much then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.” (Acts 17:28-29)
