Day 19: Jesus Calmed the Storm and So Can You

Helping Hands –

“37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?”

Mark 4:37–40

To Do List

There are times when our ‘To Do List’ seems so long, that we can feel overwhelmed that we sit on our hands and do nothing at all. Let me say, that whilst sitting on your hands offer up a prayer for all those who are in need. Mention by name those who you know by name and those you do not know, offering up a prayers that asks God to give a blessing unto all those in need. God, will hear your prayer and know the desire of your heart and will not withhold a blessing to those in need, even if you are unable to physically go to their aid. The storms of life can be calmed by a quiet word, a gentle word or even a prayer.
